SHOP WEST END VIP WEEKEND 2011

This is the largest Christmas event for London, now in running for 7th year.
American Express once again sponsored VIP Weekend for 2011, helping to bring alive the theme of a traditional London Christmas. Regent Street and Oxford Street were decked out in traditional decorations and lined with old London buses as performance areas, and a 30 hour carol-a-thon took place at Oxford Circus in support of the Kids Company. 

The event was supported and marketed by all of our partners and retailers. Four prime areas were allocated to the event sponsor.

AD Health and Safety, Westminster City Council, Clean Team, Red Caps, TFL, Metropolitan Police, Visit London, London Fire Brigade, St John’s Ambulance, SFM Security. 

RESULT:
1.6 million shoppers came to the West End on during the weekend and spent over £30 million.

Point of sale standees were on display in the majority of the West End retailers, displaying key sponsor messaging.
